Waldsee: Worth the Investment

These days, we are all taking another look at how we spend our money. We want the investments we make to make a difference.

At Waldsee, we’ve been busy making some investments of our own. We’ve been investing…

…in our people, who are eager to bring back to Waldsee kids this summer the world of experience they have all gained this year.

…in our villagers, by offering new scholarships, new contests like the Internet Schnitzeljagd (check out our website!) and a great deal of planning and energy as we count down to summer.

…in our village. We have been sprucing, cleaning, and adding new cafe areas near our outdoor Backofen and our Grillplatz.

…in our curriculum. We’ve been writing new materials and charting new directions. Our new book, Gute Idee! Best Practices from Waldsee for Teachers of German, is soon to be distributed nationwide.

…in our partnerships. We are joining with other organizations to promote German, offer Teacher Empowerment Scholarships and launch a national contest called “Why Learn German?” It’s a good question! Find some answers here.
